Yay or Nay: Transparency

Today I will be talking about something that I have been loving for a while, but only now it is truly out there. Specially for spring and summer!
And it is the transparency, which we have seen sometimes but it was only to go the beach or the pool in bags. But now it is a lot more out there, with raincoats and others.

Here are a couple of my favourites:

The brand that I have mostly gotten inspired by was Valentino, with their classic pieces and transparency was added to them, making it look completely different.
I don't if I would actually wear a completely clear rain coat, but it definitely caught my attention. The black pumps with just some transparent detailing look classy but still a bit to the trendier side, the sandal has the most beautiful heel I have ever seen. And the bags are simply to die for together with the studded clear bracelet!

Next up is Zara, which caught my attention by how many clear clutches they have and another pro is that they are NEON! Bright colors and transparency? Couldn't get any more trendy.

Up above is just a compilation of other brands that made use of transparency:
1. Jeffrey Campbells Soiree Platform Sandal
2. Charlotte Olympia Pandora Clutch
3. Marc by Marc Jacobs cross body bag (available in red and black&white)
4. Jeffrey Campbell Rubicon sandal
5. Jeffrey Campbell Puffer sandal
6. Furla Candy bag

Is it a yay or a nay for you? For me is almost a yay, I wouldn't exaggerate or splurge on anything transparent.

Instagram Round Up (21-28/04)

Sundays will be, from now on, the instagram round up. Where I will be showing you what I've done every week through my instagram photos.

This week I had an amazing lasagna and some starbucks, on sunday I went to a Chinese restaurant where they had a huge cup of cola and then got some more starbucks! The week was busy with school, but it was short, since it was a holiday on friday. On saturday I went to Wagamama, and had some amazing food (Crème brûlée is amazing, I've always loved it). And earlier today, I had some Starbucks with my mom. :)

Favorite Nail Polish (so far)

Today I will be telling you how much I love my new nail polish that I got as a birthday present from my friend.

First let's see this beauty!

The brand is Manhattan and the color is 78T and I believe it is from Germany. As you can see it is the most beautiful metallic blue and it is super easy to apply. The brush is just the right size.

What is your favorite nail polish?

Today's Outfit: Feeling like Sam Pepper

Happy sunday! Today I have an outfit for you! :)
I bought yesterday a really cute bomber jacket with tigers and zebras of all sorts of colors. And the best part was that it was half the price. (PS: If there's Monki where you live, check them out because all of their jackets and coat are 50% off).

Here is my baby! Since it is pretty bright I decided to go really simple by pairing my greyish Topshop jeggings, a black tank and my studded sneaker from Zara.

For my accessories I decided to be simple, I just put on my H&M bag and my Zara sunglasses.
I thought the jacket looked so 90's and it reminded of Sam Pepper from Youtube, he wears shirts with funky patterns like this jacket.

Tip: If you're short like me and your pants look weird because they are too long, simply fold cuffs. They look even cuter if the inside of the pants are of another color. :D

What have you been up to this fine sunday?

Saturday Snack: Malteser Hot Chocolate

Today I have for you THE most amazing snack for your saturday afternoon, morning or evening!

Ever since I came to Denmark I fell in love with Maltesers. I had never tried them and as soon as I did I loved them! :)
Last week I was occasionally at the grocery store and I spotted a huge bag of Malteser, which turned to be this one:

YES! This MALTESERS HOT CHOCOLATE! I was super excited and it tastes like heaven in a Malteser world! :P
It is pretty similar to the Ovomaltine, which I could never find in Denmark! :'(

What is your favorite snack this week?

My Must Have: Trusty Bag

I have come to you today to tell that I love my beautiful satchel!

When I went to Paris, which was during my christmas break (needless to say, it was my favorite place to go and I'm going there again during summer break! :D). Continuing the story... I was pretty focused on getting a nice bag that is a bit pricier but worth the small splurge (and a watch).
Of course I wouldn't go crazy and buy a 1000€ bag, I wanted to start slow.
So when I was walking on a street close to the beautiful Champs-Élysées, I ran into the Michael Kors store and I was the happiest!
I was not proud of myself when I got there, I looked like something that wouldn't walk into a nice store (it was raining) , but I had already walked into many other stores with that beautiful hair and the only thing that I thought was getting my beautiful watch and loving it like he was my biological son.
I looked at the watches and finally picked one out, which is the one that you have seen in many of my outfits. When the lady was adjusting it for me, I went to take a look at the bags and saw the cutest satchel in the planet.

It is the Hamilton Satchel, and it is possible for you to choose them in different colors and the details can be gold or silver and they have in two other sizes.
This size retails for 300€

My Opinion

This bag was a nice little investment and a nice way to start off. It is a nice size and pretty comfortable.
Another plus is that the style is pretty classic and it works for all seasons. You can easily dress up or down with this bag.
It is a pretty sturdy bag and I use every single time I get out of the house, except for school. :)

What's in my bag?

Here are the things that I had in my bag! :)

  1. Michael Kors iPhone wallet
  2. Sock bun donut from H&M
  3. 4 step nail file from Gina Tricot
  4. A cool pen with cool colors
  5. hair pins
  6. gummy green earphones by Sony
  7. Vaseline hand cream
  8. Viva Glam I by MAC
  9. Revlon Just Bitten lip stain in Crush
  10. Topshop lipstick in Legend
  11. Too Faced LashGasm mascara
  12. Sephora Rouge Shine in 47
  13. Nivea lip balm
  14. Michael Kors watch
  15. iPhone cover from H&M
  16. iPad cover by Glitter
  17. Monthly Card

Hope you liked my long dramatic story...  What is your favorite bag?

Haul: Zara, Topshop and H&M

Today I have another haul for you. I have been buying some new things for spring and some basics that I needed. So I went to H&M, Zara and Topshop! :)

Let's start with H&M, because I only bought accessories there.

From H&M, I got this cool case for my sunglasses because the ones I have are way too big. The color is super neon and it kind of gives that oil effect.
The second thing I got were these cool nude sunglasses with mirrored lenses. The frame nude and is super soft and kinda rubbery.

Next up is Topshop. Now, I didn't really anything super exciting there. Just my favorite jeggings that were half price.

I love them! They are super comfy and look really cute folded up with some sneakers.
These one are black/grey. Super pretty!

I feel like Zara was the only one that went full on spring mode!

I have been wanting a t-shirt with someone's face on it for some time. And when I saw this one from Zara, I knew we were meant to be! I love colour scheme and the folded sleeves!

But my t-shirt wouldn't be perfect without THE perfect pants!

So I got these beautiful striped ones. I love how the stripes look asymmetrical and it's a pretty neon corally pink! I like it how it's a little bit different from other striped pants that you see around!

Have you gone spring shopping?

Beauty Haul: Sephora

Yesterday I went into Sephora willing to find a concealer, because mine weren't working at all!
So, I bought it and ended up buying a few other things!
Here they are:

The first thing that I picked up was a concealer I remembered that I saw a lot of reviews on the one by Make Up For Ever. So I went to their counter and a sweet lady with awesome green hair helped me pick out the shade (315). The applicator is made of silicon and I'll review it once I've used it enough times.

The next was a concealer brush, mine from Sigma is falling apart so I decided to give Sephora's a try. It is a duo-fibre concealer brush and I believe the number is 100.

The last but most definitely not least was this pretty coral lipstick (it shows a lot more red in the pic than it actually is).
I have been wanting a nice orange-y lipstick for a while and I have two, but one is too matte and the other too pink. I feel like this one is the perfect color!

What beauty items have you bought lately? I would love to know!

Into my wardrobe: Favorite Coats

Today is a very gloomy day in beautiful Denmark. It has been raining/snowing all day and the sun hasn't come out. So I thought I would share with you my favorite coats, they are not exactly supposed to be warm, they "springy/summery" coat and jackets.

Underneath the coats I wore a simple outfit, but I thought I'd tell what I am wearing!

I decided to keep it simple and black! :)
So I am using one of those bodysuits from H&M, a skirt that I've had for a long time, H&M stockings and 67 boots.

Let's get to the coats! :D

I decided to started with the heaviest of them. This is a leopard coat from H&M, and I recently posted how I would style it. It fits very nicely, even though it is H&M. And needless to say that I love animal print!

This one is my spring/fall coat. Since the military trend is still around, I feel like I can get away with wearing it on both seasons. I bought it around october last year and Topshop came up with it again, the only difference is the lining color. I think it's a very nice piece to have in your wardrobe and the color looks amazing with RED and ORANGE, at least in my opinion! :)

This one is also a piece that every girl should have: (faux) leather jacket! Every single brand has one and you can never have too many.
Mine is from New Yorker, an inexpensive store. It has the cold studs, which I love. I wouldn't say that buying a studded jacket as your first leather jacket would be ideal, though. Since its hard sometimes if you want to pair with studded shoes or anything else with studs.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever done. This is a jacket from Zara and it came around spring (not sure) last year. Even though I can't pair it with any pants, like denim ( I don't really like the idea of denim on denim). This jackets look badass over dresses, black pants and a t-shirt or anything else! I love it!

The last but most definetly not least is my but floral blazer. I bought it in 2010 or 2011 in a little boutique in Brazil. It is the brightest, most comfortable and beautiful blazer I have ever had. I have been seeing that floral blazers are still in, so I will most definetly be using it ( I would use it even if the trend was banned forever).

That is it! Show me YOUR favorites coats, I would love to see them. If so, just do a blog post and make sure to leave the link in the comments.

Makeup: Hayley William's MAC Collection

Today MAC launched their brand new collection and it is inspired by Hayley Williams, Paramore's lead singer! The collection consist of orange colored items and I love them.
I am going to quickly run through the items, and if I buy any of them i will for sure review them.

The first up is this bright orange lips and its name is "sounds like noise"

I truly fell in love with this eyeshadow, it will be added to my collection as soon as I can. It is a nice mid-tone coral color and has frost finish.

This nail polish is also really pretty. It is a bright glossy orange polish. Apparently it is not supposed to streak and chip, so that is always a plus!

There's also a new Mineralize Skinfinish. It is a beautiful highlighter with a metallic finish.

From what I have understood the collection will only be available online and for a limited time, so run and get it!

Yay or Nay: Chunky Necklaces

Credit: WeHeartIt

Today will be another Yay or Nay and it is all about chunky necklaces. They have been around for a while.

They are very versatile and can be work over shirts, sweaters and nice dresses.
I personally love them over sweaters and with a nice sock bun!

These necklaces come in different colors and styles, with pearls or tribal prints, chain links or spikes and many others.

Here are a couple of necklaces that I liked:

These two necklaces are from Bauble Bar. The one on the left is the Fuchsia Gem Cluster necklace and the right one is the Ivory Jurassic Collar. I really liked them! :)

These three necklaces are from Zara. I really liked the pearl one because it feels classy but modern and the other two are kind of tribal-ish, which makes me love them!

These two are from Topshop, as you can probably guess I am really into triangles...

Is this a yay or a nay for you?
