HELLO!

Today, I have a very quick and simple post! :)

Here's my outfit for today!

The shorts are from Target, as well as the sneakers. The top under the shirt is just a simple black top from H&M, and the most beautiful ugly shirt in the world is from TopShop! :)

Nails of the Week: Yellow and Pink

HELLO!

This week's nails is one of my favorite color combinations, yellow and pink! I decided to do some a little bit different, and do an accent nail. Granted that the accent nail is not very different from the others, but it is great if you want to have an accent nail but is too scared to have it in another color or completely different from the other nails. :)

These nails are super easy, and all you need is to make a straight line on top of the base nail polish! :)
I love the color combination! It's super bright and great for summer.

Here are the nail polishes I used: Colorama in Rosa Pink (which I think you can find this brand at Ricky's NYC), but any pink polish will do, this one just happened to be the most dense one that I had. And Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow! :)

What do you have on your nails this week?

Favorite Lipsticks for Summer

HELLO!

One of my favorite beauty products is lipstick! I have been obsessed with bright lipsticks for quite some time and they are my weakness at any beauty store. So, I decided to share some of my favorite lipstick for the spring/summer! :)

I picked six of my favorite lipsticks in my collection that Spring/Summer appropriate (I wrote appropriate because sometimes I like wearing some dark lipstick in the middle of a hot summer day).
Here they are:

The first lipstick is by NYX, and I have fallen in love with these jumbo pencils. This one is in the color French Kiss, and it is a bright hot pink, pretty matte but not too dry and doesn't slip all around your face! And the fact that it is a jumbo pencil, makes application a lot easier.

The next one is another one by NYX, in the color XOXO. The camera did not do this color any justice, it is a lot more of a coral color than pink. It is the perfect color if you can't pull of orange lipsticks, like me! :)

The next one is by NYX, again! I love NYX, since it is pretty affordable and very good quality when comparing to other drugstore brands. This one is called Maraschino and is just a classic bright red, I decided to buy because the red that I have are darker.

I swear this is the last one by NYX! This is just a very neutral light pink color, and I usually wear it when I don't feel like putting too much makeup on. It is in the color Pink Lyric. The formula of the Lip Smacking Fun Colors is the one I love the most, it stays on for quite a bit and doesn't dry my lips, which is what I first look for in a lipstick! Besides, these lipsticks retail for around $4.00 at Ulta, which doesn't hurt. ;P

This lipstick is a bit on the more expensive side. It is by Givenchy in the color Fuchsia Irrésistible and it is a hot pink color. The formula is super moisturizing and stays on very well.

The last, but definitely not least, is one a funkier color (my favorite type of color :D). It is from the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks collection, in the color Melted Violet. It is very liquidy and the stay isn't too amazing, but the color is way to pretty not to mention. It is a pinkish lilac color. It is different from the pinks and reds, but it is the perfect color if you feel like getting into the funky lipsticks that have been trendy lately, since it is different but doesn't stand out too much.

Well, hope you liked this post! Make sure to tell me in the comments what are your favorite lipsticks for the Spring/Summer!

My Summer Makeup Routine

HELLO!

It has been almost a week since I graduated, and I must say that life without high school feels pretty good! :D
So, today I have for you my Summer Makeup Routine. I have found some new techniques that have been working pretty well with me and are worthy sharing!

Plaid shirt: Garage; Bracelet: Francesca's

This is not what I wear every single day, I usually do versions of it, changing the lip color or an eyeshadow, but the idea is pretty much the same!  :D

Le Face

1. Foundation/Tinted Moisturizer: Apply MAC Studio Moisture Tint in Light with my RealTechniques Expert Face Brush
2. Concealer: Apply MAC's Studio Finish Concealer in NC15 under the eyes and anywhere you want to cover up with a concealer brush (I use Sephora's #100)
3. Setting your concealer: Apply undereye setting powder by E.L.F. with a Sigma E60, or any shader brush. ( I found that this helps me keep the concealer where it should be and it is pretty cheap
4. Primer: Apply Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion on eyelids

Les Eyes

1. All over lid shadow: Apply the light eyeshadow from the NYX Love in Florence pallet in Gelato For Two, using a Sigma E60
2. Crease shadow: Time to add depth to your eyes. For this makeup in particular I used MAC's Brown Down with a Sigma E25 ( I usually go for a denser blending brush for my crease)
3. The liner: I have recently stopped using eyeliner and now I am only using black eyeshadow, that way if I mess up, I can just smoke it out and looks just as good. ;)
Here I used NYX Black and applied with a Sigma E65
4. Top Lashes: Apply Maybelline's Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara to top lashes only
5. Bottom Lashes: apply the lower lashes brush of the Falsies Big Eyes Mascara to you bottom lashes. ( I feel like the smaller brush gives me more precision and doesn't put too much product on my bottom lashes, since they are pretty long)

Les Lips & Cheeks

1. Blush: Apply Nars blush in Mata Hari (a gorgeous pale pink color) with a Sigma F40
2. Lipstick: Apply Givenchy lipstick in Fuchsia Irrésistible (205). BTW, I am in love with this lipstick! The case is made a legit leather, totally worth the splurge! It is super matte but also super moisturizing!

That is all! Hope you guys liked the post and make sure to tell me your everyday makeup looks or tell me if you're recreated this one! I would love to know.

Favorite Nail Polishes: Summer

Hello!

Today I come to you with a lovely post about nail polishes! I personally get very excited!
So, I will be sharing with you my favorite nail polishes to wear during summer, both ones that I usually wear and the ones that I plan on wearing! :)

Let's get started, I decided to not include any brazillian brands, since it is quite hard for you to get a hold of! (would you like me to do a giveaway of brazillian nail polishes? I buy my favorites and give it away...)

From left to right: Blazed by Wet'n'Wild, Lazer Beam by L.A. Girl, 343 by Kiko, Big Yellow Taxi, Cupcake queen and headliner by Ciaté.
These first six polishes are just nice colors that are a bit brighter for summer! A girl always has to have a coral, a hot pink, turquoise or a green and a purple. The yellow is very specific and some people may not like it.

Left to right: 64 by coolcos, 389 by Kiko and You're such a budapest by OPI
Pastels are always summer and spring friendly and pink, acqua and violet are always cute.

L to R: Jewel, Glass slipper, magic carpet and enchanted rose by Ciaté

Glitter is a girl's best friend and Ciaté's are my favorites! Glitter surely look perfect all year round! :)

Left to right: candyshop, prom queen, bumble bee and sundance caviar pearls by Ciaté.

Caviar nails are simply my favorite thing in the world, but they are hard to do... But these pearls by ciaté are so pretty, I am definitely not going to be able to resist this summer!

What are the nail polishes that you'll be wearing this summer?

Let's go to the beach...

HELLO!

Summer is coming up and soon we are going to be able to go to the pool, so I thought I would show you some of my favourite swimwear and cover ups! :)

They are from H&M and Topshop, by the way!

First 5 swimsuits are from topshop and the black one is from H&M.

Mint one is from Topshop and the other three are from H&M.

All of the cover ups are from Topshop.

My favorite of all the cover ups is definitely the one with the pineapples! :P

Are you excited for summer? What are you doing for summer break? I am definitely running away from the warm weather and going to Brazil! :)

Love,
Mariana
