My Summer Makeup Routine

HELLO!

It has been almost a week since I graduated, and I must say that life without high school feels pretty good! :D

So, today I have for you my Summer Makeup Routine. I have found some new techniques that have been working pretty well with me and are worthy sharing!

Plaid shirt: Garage; Bracelet: Francesca's

This is not what I wear every single day, I usually do versions of it, changing the lip color or an eyeshadow, but the idea is pretty much the same!  :D

Le Face

1. Foundation/Tinted Moisturizer: Apply MAC Studio Moisture Tint in Light with my RealTechniques Expert Face Brush

2. Concealer: Apply MAC's Studio Finish Concealer in NC15 under the eyes and anywhere you want to cover up with a concealer brush (I use Sephora's #100)

3. Setting your concealer: Apply undereye setting powder by E.L.F. with a Sigma E60, or any shader brush. ( I found that this helps me keep the concealer where it should be and it is pretty cheap

4. Primer: Apply Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion on eyelids

Les Eyes

1. All over lid shadow: Apply the light eyeshadow from the NYX Love in Florence pallet in Gelato For Two, using a Sigma E60

2. Crease shadow: Time to add depth to your eyes. For this makeup in particular I used MAC's Brown Down with a Sigma E25 ( I usually go for a denser blending brush for my crease)

3. The liner: I have recently stopped using eyeliner and now I am only using black eyeshadow, that way if I mess up, I can just smoke it out and looks just as good. ;)

Here I used NYX Black and applied with a Sigma E65

4. Top Lashes: Apply Maybelline's Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara to top lashes only

5. Bottom Lashes: apply the lower lashes brush of the Falsies Big Eyes Mascara to you bottom lashes. ( I feel like the smaller brush gives me more precision and doesn't put too much product on my bottom lashes, since they are pretty long)

Les Lips & Cheeks

1. Blush: Apply Nars blush in Mata Hari (a gorgeous pale pink color) with a Sigma F40

2. Lipstick: Apply Givenchy lipstick in Fuchsia Irrésistible (205). BTW, I am in love with this lipstick! The case is made a legit leather, totally worth the splurge! It is super matte but also super moisturizing!

What's in my bag: Mini bags edition

HELLO!

I have been obsessed with mini bags lately, so it is only obvious that I tell you what I have been carrying in them. Especially because girls tend to carry a lot in their huge bags (it's okay I do it even in the tiny ones, except I can't fit that many things)

The bags that I have been using non-stop are these:

The one in the left is a bag from H&M that kind of reminds me of the Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip bag.

The middle one (my favorite) is a mini Mac by Rebecca Minkoff, I love the blue-ish lilac color and the pattern!

And last but not least, the one in the right is by a brand caller Like Dreams. I bought it in Ross though.

Now let's dive in...

1. Target wallet (super spacious, practical and, the best part, not that expensive.

2. Keys with a Lego Dracula and the Berlin Stop Sign Doll thingy keychains.

3. Apple earpods

4. iPhone 5s with a Kate Spade cover (I love Kate Spade's iPhone covers! They are the cutest!)

5. MAKE UP FOR EVER lipstick in #36. (It is a really pretty hot pink)

6. EOS lip balm in tangerine.

7. GAP sunglasses (I love that the sides are two different bright neon colors!)

That is all that I carry in my bag.

Weekend Haul: beauty, fashion and more

HELLO!

This weekend I bought a couple of things, so I thought I'd share with you!

Fashion

Sweater from Forever 21 - $19.80
Shiny leggings from Garage - $19.90

I didn't buy much clothing, but I did fall in love with these shiny leggings that remind me of Disco Pants and this cute white and leopard sweater.

Charlotte Russe earrings - 2 for $10.00

I did get accessories! I was looking for gold earring that were not too big. I found these at Charlotte Russe and with a pretty good deal.

Beauty

I bought a couple of things at Ulta and Sephora, since I couldn't resist!

 I bought two lipsticks at Ulta, since all NYX cosmetics were buy one get one half off (And I can never resist a good old lipstick!)

I also bought a NYX pallet that was on sale.

The colors are super nice and the pigmentation is pretty good.

Now, at Sephora I finally managed to buy my first Nars product.
 Since I've been wanting a darker color of blush, I bought one by Nars since it didn't have much shimmer and that's always a plus! :P

Nails of the day: Purple and Lilac

HELLO!

I thought I'd share with you my nails, because I really liked the color combination! :D

Here are the nail polishes I used:

I have on my ring finger OPI's You're Such A Budapest and on my other fingers, I have Sally Hansen's Deep Purple, which is a beautiful metallic purple!
